Pan

The Pan tool lets you navigate the canvas without selecting or drawing anything. It is handy for quickly jumping between different parts of a large diagram.

Shortcut

Key	Action
G	Choose the Pan tool
Space (hold) + drag	Pan temporarily while using any tool

How to use

1. Choose the Pan (G) tool from the toolbar.
2. Click and drag on the canvas; the view moves with your pointer.
3. To switch to another tool, select it (for example, S for Select).

Tips

• While working with any tool, you can hold Space and drag to pan without switching tools.
• Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out; two-finger scrolling also works on a trackpad.
• Use Fit to screen from the zoom controls at the bottom right to bring all your content into view at once.
