Eraser

The Eraser tool deletes the shapes you pass over.

How to use

1. Choose the Eraser (J) tool from the toolbar.
2. Drag over the shapes you want to delete; the items you touch are deleted.

Alternatives

• You can also select one or more items with the Select (S) tool and delete them with Delete or Backspace.
• If you delete something by mistake, undo with Ctrl+Z.

Tips

• The eraser is permanent; for temporary marking, see the Laser Pen (L) tool.
